Position Technical Assistance Coordinator - Home Child Care Network  
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Base Wage $20.45 - $22.50 per hour based on education and experience.  
Description

Summary

The Training, Technical Assistance,and GrantCoordinator performs training and assistance to Home Child Care Network (HCCN) child care providers in the HCCN program to assist in enhancing the quality of childcare in the surrounding communities.

Examples of Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide ongoing communication, consultation, and expertise on grant opportunities available to HCCN providers using multiple methods such as meetings, one-on-one, newsletters, etc.
  • Provide one-on-one consultation and assistance to providers who are writing and submitting grant applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to providers in areas such as new providers entering the program or applying for the program, create and maintain a budget for their program, expense tracking, source and evaluate quotes, basic accounting needs, and certifications
  • Daycare licensing
  • Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) compliance
  • Other ongoing compliance and required documentation
  • Coordinate with the HCCN Coordinators on provider goal plans to aid in success of the meeting goals
  • Complete no less than monthly check-ins with providers
  • Create a positive first impression and deliver excellent customer service to all community members, providers, and other individuals in a similar capacity
  • Comply with local, state, and national standards for childcare for quality
  • Produce and submit various monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports such as monthly program outcomes that are tied to goals, and Quarterly Continuous Quality Improvement report and analyze opportunities to improve performance
  • Assist in recruitment of new home childcare providers
  • Attend training, meetings, and community events as necessary to promote program and expand participation

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a COVID-19 vaccine (reasonable accommodations may be allowed as required by law),Associate degree with at least five years experience working in an early childhood education management-level position with experience in budgets, grants, and communication.
