Share Email Opening Apply Now Title General Facility Staff- Romulus Athletic Center  Description Seasonal-Summer – Part Time Start Date: Early-Mid June. End Date: Late Aug / Early September Job Purpose Under the general supervision of the manager on duty, is responsible for attending to various job assignments depending on the daily needs of the facility. Duties may include assisting with facility’s daily summer camp, attending to patrons on facility’s rock wall including verifying harness fit and attaching harness to auto belay system, assisting with front desk, birthday parties, and light janitorial duties. Perfect first time job or summer help job. Duties and Responsibilities Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff. Be energetic, cheerful, and professional. Visually inspects Rockwall surface, grips, and harnesses for safety. Attaches and detaches patrons from Rockwall belay system. Assists children ages 6-12 in various camp activities. Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately. Communicates accurate and professional information to patrons. Responsible for cleaning Rockwall and fitness area, and other areas as directed. Responsible for attending staff meetings and trainings. Acts as team member and assists in other capacity as needed. Responsible for completing all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.   Position Requirements Qualifications Experience working with children a plus Experience in customer service a plus. Working Conditions This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Work responsibilities will be performed in a standard recreational facility.
