Junior Pricing Analyst

The Junior Pricing Analyst must be highly motivated, an effective communicator, flexible, dependable, and proactive.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze, develop, and implement complex pricing strategies and solutions.
  • Develop strategies to predict the customer’s willingness to pay for services and the competitor’s price model.
  • Prepare final pricing schedules and cost narratives in response to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and or ROMs.
  • Conduct pricing discussions and negotiations, for both strategic analyses supporting proposal planning and tactical analysis for execution.
  • Work closely with other departments during the contract award and modification process to ensure proposed costs coincide with submission.
  • Provide process and pricing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Update relevant process documents and templates as required.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements


  • Minimum of three (3) plus years of experience in the financial management career field with at least one (1) years’ experience in pricing (experience directly related to Federal Government proposal development is preferred).
  • Must be experienced in labor hour estimating, ODCs, material requirements, financial methodologies and modeling, cost narratives and RFP compliance to support both CONUS and OCONUS proposals.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required; Master’s preferred.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to successfully multitask while meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Be well-versed in Federal Government business/contracts with an emphasis in pricing.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess highly complex scenarios and propose alternative solutions.
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel creating complex, inter-related models, and formulas.
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Word creating cost narratives containing the detailed basis of estimate.
  • Knowledgeable of the Service Contract Labor Standards, Government Cost Accounting Principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations and other government-related standards and regulation.
  • Must understand wrap rates and labor detail build-ups.
  • Knowledgeable of OCONUS burden requirements.
  • Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to management.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proven success in managing projects while organizing task with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to focus on detail while multi-tasking with minimal margin of error.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
