Share Email Opening Title International Trade Compliance Manager  Description **This is NOT a remote position; the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite at our Melbourne, FL Location Roles & Responsibilities: This position is an individual contributor, reporting directly to the VP of Operations Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), including anti-boycott regulations, sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customs Regulations (CR) and the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR). Familiarity with national customs requirements, export licensing, economic sanctions and arms embargos, re-export, and retransfer requirements under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and U.S. anti-boycott regulations. Be the subject matter expert on International Trade Compliance. Work closely with the Operations and Business teams to ensure customer needs are being met by having proper classifications, licenses, and compliance with regulations in place. Review items for import/export and ensure compliance with US and other International Trade Compliance Regulations. Manage export license applications and work with various US Government agencies to ensure proper licenses are in place or can be obtained. Manage the Customs process and ensure goods are cleared from Customs in a timely manner. Support internal assessments and audits of import/export activities and assure proper reporting of results. Facilitate implementation of audit findings of import/export activities to correct any shortcomings. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned   Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business or related field, plus 8 years experience in a compliance role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Previous level of 6 years experience in International Trade Compliance required. US Citizenship required   Physical Demands: Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking, able to work under time constrains, and will at times be required to work with some chemicals and bonding agents. Ability to lift and manipulate 25-pound objects, sometimes overhead.
