Description

Peabody Properties seeks a proven Marketing Coordinator to join its marketing team. 

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for building brand awareness, development and productiveness through marketing initiatives, quality control and training. Provides leadership and mentors staff through support and training.  Promotes a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.  Trains, coaches, and assists new team members with the sales and marketing process and procedures including providing uncompromising customer service and effective selling to both current and prospective residents. The main function of the Marketing Coordinator is the increase revenue while maintaining occupancy of the sites they are responsible.

 

Requirements of the Position:

  • 3+ years’ marketing experience in property management
  • Proven knowledge of and compliance with: Affordable Housing, LIHTC, Federal, State and Local Housing regulations  
  • Proven knowledge and experience in conducting affordable housing lotteries 
  • Demonstrated success working with market rate and affordable properties, new developments and lease up 
  • Ability to foster and maintain close relationship with management teams, current and prospective clients 
  • Works collaboratively with the operating teams to ensure the property teams are trained in all aspects of company’s marketing programs 
  • Ability to think creatively beyond the boundaries of traditional marketing
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • High degree of interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Access to a vehicle, valid driver’s license and willing to travel

Position Requirements
  • Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years’ marketing experience in property management.
  • Knowledge of Real Page Onesite property management software, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD/Section 8 experience required.
