Experience in designing and maintaining calibration systems Ability to read and interpret all kinds of drawings including good understanding of GD&T Knowledge of statistical tools to analyze measurement standards and processes Strong understanding of medical device and drug product regulations including FDA GMP, ISO13485, 21 CFR 210, 211, 820 regulatory audits Knowledge of SOP’s and ability to author SOPs and protocols for measurements Certification: CQA desired, but not required.   Description This is a great hand-on opportunity to join our growing team! As Metrology Technician, you will support all measurements required for new product development, product changes, existing devices and machine parts. Responsible for programming and maintenance of Micro Vu measuring system. Primary Responsibilities: • Responsible for first article inspection report generation. • Responsible for incoming of raw material and components; make judgement to accept or reject incoming components. Review all rejects and tracks/trends as needed. • Perform statistical analysis on vendor and in-house components. • Responsible for equipment calibration. • Working with service provider for all Inspection, Measurement and Test equipment services and audits. • Working with Sterilization provider on components and audits. • Provide technical support to Production and Manufacturing Engineering in the event of a supplier quality problem occurring on a component or raw material. • Participate in the development of the risk management process. • Assures testing compliance to Quality Management System. • Develops inspection and test methods for metrology as part of a cross-functional team. • Perform internal/supplier audits, as required.   Location 1.
