Essential Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for safely hauling equipment and material to and from jobsites and facilities Identifies equipment and materials to ensure correct product is being hauled Communicates with the use of smart devices with supervisors and crews Works safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and other industry equipment Utilizes defensive driving practices Adheres to safety policies Maintains a sense of urgency throughout the day to safely and efficiently deliver product Maintains equipment by conducting the proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections and mechanical write-ups, communicating abnormalities with the appropriate parties Operates the truck and other types of equipment according to the manufacturers recommended guidelines Maintains a positive attitude in all interactions with customers and colleagues Maintains trucks in a consistently clean condition, well-ordered, and the exterior appearance of the truck is maintained each day Operates truck in a manner that ensures compliance with all applicable company, state and federal safety regulations Follows required company and DOT reporting procedures Maintains paperwork during the day including DVIR and driver's log book Ensures the truck has current licenses, tags, permits, and proof of insurance Reports for work at the scheduled time and place Travel is required up to 50% of the time Other Duties/Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Duties None Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.   Position Requirements Experience: One (1+) plus years of commercial driving experience is required A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with airbrake endorsement is required Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid State Driver’s License is required Candidates must Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, a Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated physical as a requirement of the job and pass a pre-employment drug screen   Open Date 9/14/2022   Close Date   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
