The Event Warehouse Production & Execution supervisor is a highly responsible individual to help produce and guide our Design and Catering departments to create great event experiences. Event Production is a fast-paced and incredibly rewarding. As part of the warehouse Operations team, this position requires you to have good time management, great relationship with people and resources to ensure a successful event execution.

The Event Warehouse Production & Execution Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for implementing and delivering our sales and designers vision to the client, from design, to installation, operational and removal including the logistics involved for the overall execution of the event.

Reporting Structure

Event Warehouse Production & Execution supervisor reports directly to Operations Manager (Warehouse and Design).

Schedule

Bold Catering & Design's business hours are Monday - Friday, 8 - 5 PM. However, the nature of the event world, is work will need to take place on event days. You should have flexibility to work some nights and weekends. E.g. You work 5 days this week, Tuesday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM . On Saturday you work from 12 PM - 7 PM.

Responsibilities & Duties

The Event Warehouse Production & Execution Supervisor is expected to help produce for events which includes pulling of equipment, overseeing prop builds, prop maintenance.

  • Monitor production to resolve issues and ensure quality standards
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Purchase the required materials to produce, build, and execute events
  • Overall production planning, coordinating, and execution of events
  • Strong decision-making skills and results-driven approach
  • Onsite production oversight including load-in/strike of events
  • Meet with Operation Manager to discuss the implementation and technical direction of the events
  • Build equipment orders and get with execution team lead to ensure a flawless execution
  • Maintain inventory and equipment to ensure everything is in working condition
  • Coordinate with execution team on installations and strikes
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team (4-8 team members)
  • Be an active leader - teach and learn while improving your own skills

Preferred Skills

  • Carpentry or woodworking skills
  • Electrical and/or wiring knowledge
  • Basic understanding of logistics and trucking

Position Requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Constant standing and walking
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crawling
  • Occasional ascending or descending of ladders, stairs and/or ramps
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and rotation of the spine, elbows and wrists
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular and continuing basis
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs,
  • Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words and in the process of communicating with team members
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
