The Senior Logistics Specialist will provide property management/logistics expertise to support global projects in support of DOD program.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Take an active role in client engagement as the lead and principal contact of the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract Property Management team in support of the government counterpart as well as internal personnel and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise and tracking to support/conduct DCMA and FAR/DFARS compliant property management activities to assist CTR in ensuring that all entities performing work for CTR (e.g. integrating contractors, other government entities, etc.) have appropriate inventory management and accountability mechanisms, are providing accurate property reports, and are compliant with internal CTR policy as well as DoD and higher level government property management guidance.
  • Maintain and oversee the application of quality control across all aspects of business delivery of the team to ensure successful operations.
  • Perform assessments, analyses, project reviews, inventory checks and related activities required to support this activity.
  • Coordinate policy, document preparation, and necessary approval, and specific provisions for the transfer of property (TOP) to partner governments.
  • Provide regular training, information papers, SOP updates, and similar products on evolving or new property management requirements.
  • Manage and report on adherence to SOPs and KPIs, lead process modifications and communications when necessary to maintain excellence in customer service.
  • Oversee coordination of property and facilities support services for both government and contractor staff supporting CTR as directed.
  • Maintain property management records, track property management metrics, and develop standard operating procedures, manuals, and reports in compliance with government regulations.
  • Maintain a property accountability database that will house complete, auditable records of CTR-provided assistance throughout the lifetime of the program, to include property documentation requirements unique to CTR.
  • Collaborate with Program Budget and Management Web Application (PBMWA) system developers to identify system requirements and improvements.
  • Coordinate with other A&AS teams (Developers, Operational Evaluation Team, Acquisitions, etc.) to ensure adherence of best practices and industry standards to ensure accountability, storage, liability of property.
  • Assist with RFP, proposal, contract and purchase order reviews and work with other departments to administer government property contractual requirements.
  • Perform regular analysis of the CTR property management processes and systems, with primary emphasis on analyzing data and resolving property records issues and the transfer of property.
  • Initiate and maintain contacts throughout the organization and with customers as necessary to resolve property issues.
  • Facilitate professional communications and project coordination with a large group of clients including government, fellow A&AS contractors, and other CTR staff.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
