The Housekeeper Supervisor will support the Frederick Living Mission of caring for and enriching the lives of older adults with the following essential responsibilities:

  • Make rounds in Cedarwood and Aspen and complete 6 Q audits per week.
  • Prepare and verify time sheets for payroll.
  • Attend meetings and committees as requested by the manager.
  • Schedule cleaning of the Residential Living apartments, cottages and villas.
  • Assist with the training of all new housekeeping staff.
  • Work on special projects as needed.
  • Complete forms required by administration.
  • Supervise all housekeeping personnel providing them with daily and special assignments.
  • Abide by the organizations code of conduct in the performance of their duties.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to climb, crawl, reach, grasp, crouch, stoop, maintain balance, push and kneel to adequately perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to adequately perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to hear, see and speak to adequately perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to work in inside and outside environmental conditions, as necessary.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders.

Along with an excellent work ethic, successful candidates will have:

  • High school graduate or equivalent with supervisory experience in institutional housekeeping and laundry preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
