Description

The Project Management Coordinator position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, communicative, and knowledgeable about project management. As a member of the Corporate Marketing and Creative team, he/she reports directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives. The Project Management Coordinator will help define, track, and meet project goals while managing various growth-minded department and company deliverables.

Using a thoughtful approach, he/she will help craft project management strategies while immersing him/herself in project flow and completion of deliverables. This position revolves around coordinating schedules, budgets, issues, and risks of the various projects at hand - ensuring all aspects of his/her assigned projects are well-organized and run smoothly.

Furthermore, the Project Management Coordinator is responsible for communicating with various departments within the organization to ensure everyone is on the same page and providing updates in plain terms to Company stakeholders and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

  • Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives (project manager), Company stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
  • Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and additional duties, as needed.

Administrative Support

  • Provides administrative support, as needed to the Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives, including facilitating department and organization-specific projects.
  • Assists with coordination of and content for presentations, trainings, and proposals.
  • Works with outside vendors and freelancers on related projects, as needed.
  • In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and required.
  • Reports to Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives.
 
Position Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with database applications, such as Quickbase.
  • Working knowledge of project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Solution and detail oriented.
