Share Email Opening Title Sr. Mendix Developer  Description POSITION SUMMARY This position provides support in the development and ongoing creation of features using Mendix. At times called upon to lead projects using SCRUM methodology with AGILE principles and offer advice and solutions based on best practices expertise. As a member of the team day-to-day responsibilities will include participation in daily standups, user story refinement, and tuning those stories into highly functional, highly scalable deliverables in the Mendix platform. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Design and develop effective Mendix applications that meet stakeholder's requirements. Ability to convert business rules/requirements into application logic. High-quality documentation of solutions, architectures, and diagrams. Root-cause analysis on application issues and design resolutions. Partner with key stakeholders from the product and business teams as well as other software developers to ensure delivery of the right solution. Work with a team or autonomously depending on the needs of the project. Optimization Skills. Disciplined in testing. Fast learner, ability to learn new complex products and processes. Ability to solve issues using a logical and analytical approach. Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines. Work-from-home with occasional travel required (WFH, Remote).   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 year of experience delivering Mendix technical implementations. Development and implementation experience with PL SQL, Java, JavaScript, GIT/SVN is a must. Back-end and Front-end Development. Experience in design, develop, and test API’s (REST, JSON, XML). Mendix Rapid Developer certified. Other certifications are optional. Experience with MS Office Integrations and Web Technologies is an advantage. Experience customizing and publishing Mendix widgets is an advantage.
