Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inventory Performance.
  • Sending releases to suppliers.
  • Managing outside services.
  • Cancels/Defers.
  • Order Acknowledgements.
  • Expediting.
  • Manage and oversee MRP process order policies: min/multi/max, order frequency, safety stock, ROP, etc.
  • Provides work direction and training to other department staff.
  • Supplier Management (Relations; Selection; Cost Negotiation: Quality Issues; Major OTD Issues).
  • Managing VMI suppliers.

  • Capacity to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and volume and to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Prioritizes competing priorities to achieve goals with available resources.
  • Works well individually or within a team but owns it and works to empower others to do the same.
  • Goal oriented, challenging self and others to exceed goals and expectations.

Educations and Experience

Requires an associates or bachelors degree and five+ years of related experience or equivalent. CPM or CPIM certification is preferred.
