Summary Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse activities, including planning and assigning daily workloads to meet departmental goals and participate in the operations, as well as train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned. Supervise warehouse personnel including assigning work tasks, training, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, resolving problems, administering company policies and ISO procedures, and enforcing safety regulations. Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory. Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers. Makes sure requisitions from production and ensuring inventory transactions are accurately recorded. Manage the daily cycle count and reconciliation activities in order to maintain inventory integrity. Assist personnel with problem resolution and ensure safety regulations are followed. Support other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the entire operation. Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices. Perform other duties as defined by management. Working knowledge of ISO/9001/14000/13485 and AS9100 processes.   Position Requirements Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   Education and/or Experience Required: Three year of warehouse experience required. Working knowledge of ERP systems and processes required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as counting scales, scissor lift, work assist vehicles and forklifts.
