Customer Service Representative 

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
***Note - this is not a remote position. You will be expected to work on site, in an office environment, during core business hours, Monday through Friday.

  • Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale.
  • Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations (CRM) with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s).
  • Works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals.
  • Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate account of equipment failures and provides reports to management. Focus of work may be in pre-sale or post-sales or both.
  • Will serve as Customer Service lead in support of Government, commercial and international contracts, as well as license agreement adoptions.
  • Review and process of all incoming purchase orders, as well as assist in the review and creation of outgoing bids and proposals.
  • Maintain the bookings and metrics for the processing of new and repeat incoming orders/contracts, the on-time delivery report for administrative, engineering, non-recurring engineering lines and, the past due backlog report.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Prefer a 2 year degree plus a minimum of 2-4 years customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience in the aerospace industry a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Preferred candidates will have a proven track record of working to resolve issues with customers, managing customer expectations, fostering customer relationships, attention to detail and accuracy in work.
