Pay Range: $28- 30/hr with a Potential $300 Retential Bonus for Qualified Employees Shift Manager Job Purpose Shift Manager on Duty assists with management of the entire scope of the facility at Bryant Park, and reports directly to GM. Is responsible for all managerial duties when GM is absent. Shift Manager Duties and Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operationsat Bryant Parkthat include, but are not limited to, programs, events and physical facilities Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately Supervise the rink employees to include assisting in scheduling staff with attention to the payroll budget Act as a leader, and set an example for junior staff Possess the knowledge of all the rink positions and the ability to work in that capacity as required Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues Responsible for all cash handling including reconciling petty cash daily, and daily bank deposits Maintain a clean and safe facility Communicate professionally verbally and in writing Perform any other duties as assigned IND123   Position Requirements Shift Manager Qualifications Must be at least 18 years or older Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Friendly and helpful demeanor Attention to detail Commitment to providing  excellent customer service Initiative Ability to solve problems proactively  2 years of demonstrated work experience in a high-volume retail, hospitality or recreational facility High school graduate or equivalent Prior management/supervisory experience preferred Must follow all Federal, State and Local COVID mandates/guidelines which may include but are not limited to: mask requirements, required vaccinations, wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment, Social distancing, etc.   Working Conditions Work responsibilities will be performed in a standard office environment, however all functions named in this section could also be performed on an ice surface or in a recreational facility, depending on the location. Work may be required indoor and outdoor. Additional Conditions: Use of standard office equipment that includes computers and software packages, fax and copy machines, telephones, and cash registers Use of maintenance and cleaning equipment that includes ice resurfacing machines, ice maintenance equipment, skate sharpeners, vacuums, mops, and any other equipment associated with use in a recreational facility   Physical Requirements This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and ice skating.   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Bryant Park (Winter Village at)   Req Number FAC-22-00061   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
