Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Knowledgeable about general information concerning rates, rules and regulations, operation hours of store, operation hours of the main office and any special events or activities
    • Greets guests, assist with check-in/out.
    • Ensure prompt and courteous service to all guests. Resolves guest disputes in a diplomatic consistent manner as developed by management.
    • Notifies supervisor immediately any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with the experience
    • Manage reservation database.
    • Dealing efficiently with day to day billing, monthly residential billing and guest service inqueries.
    • Maintains proper controls for safeguarding assets, including but not limited to the equipment, monies and guest information
    • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the property, types of accomodations, rental operations, package plans and facilities
    • Maintains a professional relationship with all agencies, contractors, vendors, and customers.
    • Communicates efficiently and timely with management.
    • Be a willing member of Basecamp Hospitality, performing all duties and functions as assigned to the best of his/her ability.
 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Knowledge about visitor services and amenities in the park
  • Willing and able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Positive attitude towards campground environment
  • Genuine concern for guests, camping and lodging experience.
  • Able to work with limited supervision
  • Able to follow direction and work in a team environment

Preferred:

  • Experienced in the recreation industry


PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: 

The Guest Services Clerkt will use various office tools and equipment on a daily basis. No open toe sandals or flip flops will be allowed on the job. The Guest Services Clerk will be knowledgeable in the safety practices and standards set by the Company, relative to the work environment he/she operates in.  He/she will also make it a duty to assure that all co-workers are working with those same safety practices and standards.
