FoxGuard Solutions is looking to add a Systems Engineer to join its security team of passionate and creative thinkers. The ideal candidate will be a cyber security professional with two or more years of relevant industry experience. The candidate will work both internally as well as with external clients in the industrial controls market to meet industry compliance requirements; such as NERC CIP and IEC 62443, and support other network and security related product offerings.
What will you be doing?
- Work on a collaborative team developing integrated hardware and software product solutions to meet customer and market needs.
- Continually improve product line of company, suggesting new product development ideas to engineering and product management as applicable.
- Maintain technical understanding of current product set, including customer specific products
- Maintain strong working knowledge of cyber-security tools and their capabilities in order to analyze the security posture of the hardware and software products provided by FoxGuard Solution.
- Support customer and product management needs by providing cyber security consultation and guidance.
- Provide research work related to internal or customer product development efforts
- Act as an escalation point for post-sales technical support issues.
- Travel as required to implement solutions, provide support and training
- Train customers on field-installed product as needed via either phone, remote support methods or onsite.
- Create and maintain product, process, and quality documentation.
- Work with software and hardware vendors to provide solutions for specific problems with current products and components uncovered by both the customer base and other members of the engineering team.
- Participate in and support customer validation efforts including end-user customer acceptance tests
- Participate in the continuous improvement process at FoxGuard Solutions.
- Other duties as assigned and/or required.
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
- Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in a computer related or engineering field and a minimum of two years of related experience; OR high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of cyber security best practices
- Strong working knowledge of information technology hardware, software
- Network engineering and design.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems
- Strong working knowledge of Linux

- Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP Certification, Microsoft MCTS on mainstream server operating system
