General Summary:

Serves as senior TPS software engineer responsible for the development of instrument drivers, TPS development for Customer and Factory test systems. Performs technical support for the implementation, testing and maintenance of software including execution and driver-related problem resolution.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Integrates Test Program Sets (TPS) for use in an ATE environment.
  • Develops instrument drivers for use in an ATE environment.
  • Supports development and testing of Digital and Analog Hardware.
  • Support and maintain existing Factory ATE software.
  • Utilizes TestStand C, C++, C#, and LabView to run and troubleshoot Test Program Sets (TPS).
  • Configure and maintain PCs for ATE environment
  • Create software engineering documentation including Software Development Plans (SDP), flow charts, VDD, etc.
  • Develops applications software for computer operating systems configuration and program management.
 
Position Requirements

Job Specifications:

  • BSEE or BSCS.
  • 5-8 years’ experience with Microsoft’s Visual Studio, TestStand, C, C++, C#, and  LabView, programming language plus competencies in developing application software in a WINDOWS environment.
  • Experience with GPIB, VME/VXI, LXI, and PXI test platforms.
  • Technical knowledgeable in analog and digital electronics development, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be U.S. Citizen/U.S. Person
