Share Email Opening Title Operations Manager - Facility   Description Job Purpose Maintains all facility equipment and implements day-to-day procedures to safeguard thefacility, its employees and customers. General responsibilities include the supervision of facility operations and performing various administrative and supervisory activities. Duties and Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility Maintains a clean and safe facility for all patrons Act as the point-person for facility repairs and maintenance, helping to minimize disruptions to facility operations Troubleshoot and perform general maintenance work throughout the facility Escalate maintenance issues to management as they arise to ensure repairs are completed timely and efficiently Responsible for generating reports under the direction of the General Manager Assist in scheduling staff with attention to the payroll budget Possess the knowledge of all facility positions and the ability to work in that capacity as required Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues Communicate to guests and staff professionally, both in writing and verbally Ensures and promotes excellent customer service Standard maintenance on the ice resurfacer-(oil changes, minor fixes, changing blades and coordinating blade sharpening) Working knowledge of HVAC and oversite of chiller, dehumidification, cooling tower, filter changes and coordinate with contractors on preventive and emergency maintenance Minor fixes and maintenance around the facility Ice maintenance Training of new ice resurfacer drivers Weekly opening and closing Manager on Duty shifts Willing and able to work nights, weekends, andholidays Any other duties as assigned     Position Requirements Qualifications 1-3 years’ experience with the management and operation of recreation facilities and equipment 1-3 years’ of prior management/ supervisory experience preferred Knowledgeable in general repair/maintenance duties Willingness to obtain applicable certifications for the role Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays High school graduate or equivalent Working Conditions Work is performed in several settings including a standard office environment at a recreational facility. Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Standard office equipment to be used includes computers, fax and copy machines, and telephones. Maintenance and cleaning equipment associated with use in a recreational facility.
