POSITION: Configuration Management Specialist GENERAL SUMMARY: Using establishing Quality Assurance (QA) configuration control practices, the SCM will implement and maintain proper configuration management of equipment, software, and documentation. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement configuration version control practices and processes including checkout/check in, version number control, software and systems baselines, merge build testing and releases to software, hardware, firmware, images, technical manuals, test procedures, and support documentation. Provide configuration version controls using forms, templates, databases, and applications. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BS degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics from an accredited College or University. 2 Years experience as a configuration manager 1 year experience with requirements management using DOORS 1 year experience with software configuration management as it relates to libraries of multiple software baselines, version control, tracking updates to software builds, conducting diffs of source code 1 year experience in technical writing 1 year experience with Waterfall software development life cycle concepts SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
