Our Marketing Manager is an integral leader that has passion around coaching and mentoring our Marketing Team who consistently strategize innovative ways organize and implement our marketing campaigns which raise awareness of and generate demand for our products and services.

 

The Marketing Team at Clackamas is a fast-paced, energized group of highly skilled folks. Our Marketing Manager is an essential part of developing and growing our Marketing operations by brainstorming and developing new campaigns, coordinating with internal and external partners, and monitoring performance of marketing initiatives.

 

The Marketing Manager is empowered to utilize collaboration and teamwork to coordinate with the Community Development and Sales Teams to thoughtfully engage and expand our field of membership to highlight how Clackamas FCU is a vital partner in helping our members reach their financial goals.

 

Here is a snapshot of what the Marketing Manager’s day-to-day looks like:

  • Responsible for identifying and quantifying target market opportunities and for the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, programs, and promotions; ensuring all targeted project dates and deadlines are met for implementation, training and communication to staff.
  • Develops new marketing programs, new products and services, provides information on their feasibility, market reactions, and optimal introduction procedures.
  • Coordinate and maintain the marketing database and systems data imports/exports, for analysis and research, and maintain system integrity. Troubleshoot problems with data collection/distribution.
  • Track and measure campaign results, and provide insight regarding marketing trends, competitors, and potential and existing members.
  • Take the lead in the development of the annual marketing plan, marketing calendar, advertising, collateral material, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Research, develop and implement products to enhance business and consumer relationships.
  • Maintain a portfolio of the Credit Union’s marketing, advertising and public relations material.
  • Remain current with changes within the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technology environment that may affect the operations function.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Formulates and administers the development of department budget consistent with the strategic plan and overall budget. Implement and monitor the budgetary process for the department.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide development opportunities for staff; provides frequent feedback regarding individual and group performance and progress on established goals and objectives.

  • Proactively and thoughtfully contribute to branch and member growth.
  • Daily operation of basic computer operating systems, word processing tools, email platforms, internet functionality, and Credit Union core systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all non-public data and uphold the financial integrity of the Credit Union.
  • Establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with the Clackamas team.

What does it take to qualify?

  • Two (2) years of experience managing and coaching the daily activities and operations of a medium or large sized financial, retail, or similar departmental team.
  • A college degree.
