At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities. A Sr. Wealth Advisor is expected to build strong relationships with typically high net worth clients and clients’ families, through comprehensive financial planning, progressive investment strategies and exceptional personalized service.

This position also focuses on:

  • Regularly engage with existing clients to further develop and maintain strong relationships with the goal of attracting 100% of the client’s investment wallet share while positioning the credit union as the client’s primary financial institution for all traditional banking needs
  • Consistently engage with branch and referring team members to foster knowledge, engage in referral opportunities and collaborate on additional sales needs.

  • Remains visible to the appropriate segments of the public to meet and to retain potential new clients for Blue Federal Credit Union, including conducting client workshops/seminars on various topics (i.e., Social Security, Education planning, Retirement planning, etc.)

  • Analyze client financial information, investment objectives and goals and determining which financial products meet the individual.

  • Regularly engage and develop relationships appropriate with the client’s family and beneficiaries to maintain accounts and relationships as assets pass from one generation to another.

  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Oice of Foreign Assets Control.

Full Time Position

Compensation Range: $67,044 - $100,567

Position Requirements

EXPERIENCE: Five to ten years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licensing or the ability to obtain specified licenses in the future.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: In addition to FINRA Licensing requirements, the Sr. Wealth Advisor will have a strong grasp of advanced financial planning concepts (CFP or equivalent level). They will have demonstrated the ability to identify and provide sophisticated financial planning techniques for wealth accumulation, protection, transfer and tax efficiency.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
