Operations Team Member 

About the Organization Founded in 1996 by parents who sought the very best treatment available to deliver opportunities to children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services for children ages 18 months to 21 years who have ASD.



MAC's services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy. At any given time, MAC serves approximately 370-400 clients throughout Minnesota at 17 centers located in Eagan, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Fridley, Vadnais Heights, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Duluth, Virginia, Mankato, Rochester, Red Wing, New Ulm, Medford, Hutchinson and Cambridge.



 
Description

The Operations Team Member assists in the administration of the organization’s electronic health records system. This position will provide direct support in Central Reach for client scheduling, auditing and billing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support System administrator for Central Reach.
  • Stays current on all functions and updates/upgrades for Central Reach in relationship to scheduling, auditing and billing
  • Executes daily tasks in Central Reach as it relates to scheduling, auditing and billing
  • Educate internal departments on better utilizing Central Reach
  • Provide training as needed in using Central Reach
  • Assist Operations Analyst in recognizing, reviewing and implementing new processes within Central Reach to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Serve as a resource between operations, billing, clinical team and finance to identify and improve procedures
  • Provide support to operational special assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential, HIPAA-protected information
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team

Position Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of relevant experience in the field
  • Comfortable with Central Reach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care, Business or equivalent
  • Experience with electronic scheduling/billing
