Case Coordinator 

About the Organization Founded in 1996 by parents who sought the very best treatment available to deliver opportunities to children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services for children ages 18 months to 21 years who have ASD.



MAC's services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy. At any given time, MAC serves approximately 370-400 clients throughout Minnesota at 17 centers located in Eagan, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Fridley, Vadnais Heights, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Duluth, Virginia, Mankato, Rochester, Red Wing, New Ulm, Medford, Hutchinson and Cambridge.



 
Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain 17-20 hours per week of billable tasks including:
    • Individual Skills
    • Family Skills
    • Group Skills
    • Individual Treatment Plan Development
    • Observation and Direction
    • Coordinated Care Conference
  • Support BCBA in development of the ITP
  • Manage client Electronic Health Records by updating programs and targets for new and current ITP objectives
  • Be a primary point of contact for families regarding overall progress and challenges of client treatment
  • Work collaboratively with QSP/BCBA/RD/SPOT teams to ensure quality and effective programming is in place and reviewed regularly
  • Monitor and evaluate as
  • signed Behavior Therapists by providing Observation and Direction to ensure treatment is carried out effectively
  • Ensure supports are provided with quality, safety, dignity and respect to individuals served

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled as an EIDBI Level 2 provider OR meet qualifications of an EIDBI Level 2 provider upon hire
  • Sufficient knowledge or experience in providing ABA therapy
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with clients, client families, and co-workers
  • Ability to be self-motivated, passionate, and reliable while working in a diverse environment
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and follow deadlines
  • Experience working with electronic health records
  • Ability to communicate effectively, be observant of others and possess the ability to engage an audience and respond to inquiries independently
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical judgement in relation to client programming needs
  • Ability to receive feedback and implement it appropriately
  • Experience leading or coaching individuals

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years providing ABA as a Behavior Therapist, Senior Behavior Therapist or Program Manager
  • Completed RBT coursework
  • Qualify as an EIDBI Level 1 provider
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
