Share Email Opening Title Behavior Therapist Programming  About the Organization Founded in 1996 by parents who sought the very best treatment available to deliver opportunities to children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services for children ages 18 months to 21 years who have ASD. MAC's services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy. At any given time, MAC serves approximately 370-400 clients throughout Minnesota at 17 centers located in Eagan, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Fridley, Vadnais Heights, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Duluth, Virginia, Mankato, Rochester, Red Wing, New Ulm, Medford, Hutchinson and Cambridge.   Description POSITION PURPOSE: Provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services directly to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the home, center, and community environments. This is a support position not a supervisory role. It is part of career development that focuses on providing coaching, mentoring, and general leadership to BT and SBT positions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Check-in with new hires introducing client and client related programming Train as needed, BT staff on client treatment and behavior plans Assists CC in conducting requested target probes, program objective creation and data collection Create and/or gather stimuli for programs Maintain BT or SBT responsibilities Assist in video training regarding specific client programming   PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Must complete twenty hours of continued training every two years as offered by MAC’s Learning Management System, Clinical Supervisors and the Training department. Must meet Behavior Therapist benchmark objectives annually.   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Duluth Therapy Center   Position Requirements Required Qualifications: Enrolled as an EIDBI Level 2 provider OR meet qualifications of an EIDBI Level 2 provider upon hire Sufficient knowledge or experience in providing ABA therapy Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with clients, client families, and co-workers Ability to be self-motivated, passionate, and reliable while working in a diverse environment Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and follow deadlines Experience working with electronic health records Ability to communicate effectively, be observant of others and possess the ability to engage an audience and respond to inquiries independently Ability to demonstrate clinical judgement in relation to client programming needs Ability to receive feedback and implement it appropriately Experience leading or coaching individuals   Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years providing ABA as a Behavior Therapist, Senior Behavior Therapist or Program Manager Completed RBT coursework Qualify as an EIDBI Level 1 provider Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role       EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
