Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Production Draftsman  Category Construction   Description CAD/Technician Must have an Associate's degree in construction technology, drafting technology, or computer-aided design and drafting (Certification with equivalent experience will be considered in place of a degree.) Minimum 8 + Years CAD/Design Experience Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil 3D. Knowledge in creating surfaces and mechanical appurtenances. Must be proficient with drawing production and CAD setting and associated standards for Civil and Structural work. Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks Must be familiar with BIM Process to create Design to Construction Documents. Proficient in the terminology and symbols used in survey notes, plans, shop drawings, aerial photographs, and maps related to a specific Engineering sub-type Experience in working in multiple CAD environments is preferred. Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and/or structural drafting and detailing experience is preferred. Knowledgeable/Skilled with ancillary software such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Bluebeam preferred Self-starter, driven with the enthusiasm for producing high quality, accurate drawings efficiently, and within budget. Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Salary: $50K – $90K   Position Requirements Requirements: Up to three years of relevant work experience with an Associate's degree in construction technology, drafting technology, or computer-aided design and drafting (Certification with equivalent experience will be considered in place of a degree.) OR Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering design technology, architectural studies, or related field of study. Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD. Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation is also desirable. Experience in working in multiple CAD environments is preferred. Mechanical (machinery) and structural drafting and detailing experience is preferred. Current knowledge of industry design and drafting standards Knowledgeable/Skilled with ancillary software such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Bluebeam preferred Self-starter, driven with the enthusiasm for producing high quality, accurate drawings efficiently, and within budget   Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals must have the dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as a computer, printer, fax, copier, telephone, voice mail system, and other office equipment. Position requires the ability to remain for extended periods at a workstation, as well as the ability to lift 25 pounds.
