Looking for a full-time Assistant Office Manager for the OPD department

 

Job Summary:

You will oversee staff at assigned site(s), coordinate from office activities, and resolves problems arising from client and staff complaints by performing the following tasks personally or through assigned staff.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide management to assigned staff to enhance their technical skills sets, leadership qualities and administrative tasks
  • Provide ongoing support to staff to assure completion of job responsibilities
  • Review staff responsibilities to determine time frame and scope of authority, reviews staffing requirements, and allotments of available resources
  • Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems
  • Assist clients over the phone or in person, inform clients on procedures to obtain services and financial obligations, and refer calls and takes messages
  • Schedule client's appointments and meetings with providers, monitors clients' attendance for appointments
  • Maintain the petty cash and balance cash receipts journal to ensure accurate record keeping. Prepare daily deposits and take to bank
  • Maintain daily check log, copy check received by mail for Accounting Department, and be a back-up to Office Manager and Front Office Staff
  • Orders, receives and maintains office supplies for the front office area

 

What We Need to See:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) related management medical office experience
  • Three (3) years' experience with computerized billing system.
  • A valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.
