The CPSI family of companies that offers EMR, revenue cycle, and patient engagement software solutions to healthcare providers in the US and around the world. CPSI is launching a healthcare application partner program for 3rd party developers to build apps on the CPSI data platform that can be sold through the CPSI App Store. The Application Platform Sales Manager will be responsible for working with 3rd party application developers to successfully sell their apps to CPSI customers. These apps will be sold through an App Store and directly by CPSI inside sales personnel, supported by sales personnel from the 3rd party application developers.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience with platform App Sales through an app store and direct customer sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
  • Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
  • Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Sales teams, product owners, and leadership to ensure we deliver a best-in-class app experience.
  • Experience prospecting, recruiting, presenting, qualifying and managing either clients or partners for an app company.
  • A track record of continuous opportunity development and successful quota achievement

  • Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts.
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers.
  • Ability to drive strategic technology discussions at multiple levels with partners and customers
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to collaborate to solve complex business challenges
  • Experience with app platform products
  • Deep understanding and experience with Agile principles & Waterfall methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
