JOB SUMMARY:

The Charging Operations Manager will oversee all systems and the execution of day-to-day operational tasks that support delivering the easiest to use customer charging experience. These operations will focus on supporting all aspects of VinFast’s charging experience including Home Charging, Public Charging (EMSP,EMP) and electrifying VinFast Sales/Service Centers. This role will also focus on the supportive operations behind newly emerging energy product accessories.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Actively supervise the market and develop competitive analysis to continuously improve and define the value proposition of VinFast’s charging offerings to build winning products and services
  • Play a leading role in understanding the customer experience and provide concrete insights based on market data
  • Define a product roadmap that aligns with organizational team goals while keeping up to date on all developments crucial to achieving desired outcomes
  • Build and maintain a detailed analysis of competitors and supervise VinFast product positioning
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure NPI product features will satisfy customer needs while staying within budget, protecting GM and managing timeline constraints
  • Take the lead in developing and delivering train-the-trainer content to US sales and aftersales teams
  • Drive CX management by setting up and streamlining customer journey processes to ensure a positive experience from the get-go
  • Define a key metrics dashboard to evaluate program success and areas of improvement
  • Devise customer CX and engagement schemes, promotions and offers backed up by robust business case analysis.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in product operations management/ product development or in similar roles supporting EV (Electric Vehicle) charging, energy storage and/or solar
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, directly launching, or scaling new products and services
  • Proven track record developing product strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive leadership
  • Excellent businesses analysis experience and can translate and communicate requirements into tasks. Lead with data and action.
  • Thriving on implementing systems and processes to help the organization realize the vision and complete the overarching strategy.
  • A team player who fosters a collaborative approach to work with a positive intent and mindset.
  • Customer-first approach with a relentless passion to improve the charging experience through great, usable solutions and efficient processes
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
