Description

Hui Huliau Staffing LLC an entity of Hui Huliau is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to complete the Hui Huliau support team of professionals at the Tampa, FL office location.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day functions of the HR department for all entities within Hui Huliau.
  • Prepare internal employee communications or answer calls regarding such matters as compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
  • Process new hire onboarding and out-processing paperwork
  • Manage employee lifecycle in the HRIS system: hiring, onboarding, separation
  • Manage and post jobs in the portal, ensure job descriptions are up to date
  • Maintain employee files, HR department spreadsheets, and SharePoint filing system
  • Interpret and administer company policies and procedures.
  • Respond to requests for employment verifications and other employee requests for information.
  • Assist employees in navigating open enrollment and explain coverages to them for the decision-making process.
  • Must be flexible for other HR or administrative duties as assigned.

Necessary Skills:

  • Strong verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow up skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.

Position Requirements

Required Experience / Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have (1) year of administrative or Human Resources experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook; desire to enhance skills and learning required.

Essential Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, balance; stoop, talk or hear. Light lifting, up to 15 pounds may be required. Noise level is usually minimal.
