Share Email Opening Title CMA (Sleep Center), PT, 1st  Location Joint Township District Memorial Hospital   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Working Shift 8-4:30PM   Hours Per Week 24   Description Responsible for the delivery of patient care in the sleep center under the supervision of a physician. Assists the physicians with providing quality care in the Sleep Center. Performs authorization and precertification of patients insurance for sleep center. Also responsible for performing the clerical and receptionist function of the work area. Performs other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or other certifying body. Previous medical practice experience is preferred, but not required. Basic clinical and clerical skills. Obtains and maintains successful completion of BCLS Healthcare Provider Course. Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, standing, and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to fifty pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
