The South-Eastern Family Project (SEFP) is a comprehensive residential and day treatment program for pregnant women who are addicted to alcohol and/or other drugs. Gender specific substance abuse treatment services are provided in a healthy, stable, and secure residential environment where women and their newborns can remain together throughout the treatment stay.
The Community Services Associate II is responsible for providing direct care and supervision of individuals who are diagnosed with substance use and/or co-occurring substance use disorders in a residential substance abuse treatment program toward achieving recovery, in conjunction with assisting the Program Manager in providing direct services and case coordination. Monitors and documents client progress.
Requirements:
One year of direct care experience working with adults and/or families with substance abuse and/or mental health needs, CNA a plus.
Valid Driver's License. Please submit your Department of Motor Vehicle driving record current within the last 60 days.
As a condition of employment with Hampton – Newport News CSB, you are required to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID 19 or fit within an exemption under the law.
