Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
Adult Outpatient Services offers a wide array of Outpatient Mental Health Services. Our dedicated and professional staff include Licensed Therapists, Psychologist, Nurse Practitioner, Adult Board Certified Psychiatrists, Gerontologist, Peer Support Specialists as well as an array of Nursing supports. Adult Outpatient Services staff is committed to working with people throughout their lifespan in times of severe challenges as well as through the stressors of daily living.
The Clinical Therapist II manages a caseload of managed care clients with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance related disorders in an outpatient setting involving assessment evaluations of in-coming clients and ongoing therapy. Involves decision making and application of complex theoretical approaches to individual, group and family therapy, educational sessions.

Requirements:
LPC, LCSW or LMFT licensed professional with two (2) years clinical experience including therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention and case management functions. Must be eligible or approved for MCO credentialing.
As a condition of employment with Hampton – Newport News CSB, you are required to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID 19 or fit within an exemption under the law. Accordingly if selected, employment is conditioned on providing proof of vaccination or having an approved exemption prior to starting employment.
