Share Email Opening Title Showroom Associate- Harrisonburg, VA   Description Role Priority: The Showroom Associate increases sales, market share, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by working with the consumer public, suppliers, contractors, and their clients when choosing plumbing fixtures and related items for kitchens, baths and recreational areas. Sales consultants provide expert product selection assistance, expedites orders from vendors, and conducts customer visits as needed. Role Responsibilities: Work with customers, contractors, and vendors in planning and product selection. Assist manager in marketing campaigns. Track customer returns. Maintain accurate and organized customer files. Schedule deliveries. Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services. Develop long-term relationships with builders and contractors. Read and take off blueprints to ensure compatibility between product ordered and customer desire and needs. Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts. Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and delivery of products in a timely manner. Follow company policies and procedures. Assist with special projects such as trade shows and display changes. Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and motivation to make sales. Work with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues. Use appropriate office technologies and computers to process and track orders and maintain communication with all contacts. Other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years' work experience as a Design Specialist. Strong customer service and/or problem solving skills. Must be results oriented and willing to be accountable for results. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
