Administrative Specialist

The Security Assistant Support (Administrative Specialist) will type correspondence, copy documentation, process facsimile messages.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Answer common phone lines for branches, and direct callers and visitors to the appropriate program personnel.
  • Track training for office personnel.
  • Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
  • Prepare office personnel for Staff Assistance Visits.
  • Assist with security tasks consistent with knowledge level to accomplish the mission of the organization and to support management.
  • Strong professional and business communication skills.
  • Self- motivated and can work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of professional services.
  • Must have and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, MS Teams, Power Suite, MS Planner, MS Lists, Office M365 Accessibility and Visio.
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS), pay system ATAAPS, AFFRIMS,
    record filing system, as well as EBS, suspense workflow programs and coordination systems, such as Live Link.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and above average verbal and written communication skills, while utilizing standard AF pamphlet 33-337 Tongue and Quill.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements


  • Five (5) years of applicable experience preferred.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement. While the vaccine mandate for federal contractors and subcontractors is still being decided, we are continuing to collect vaccination record cards and accepting requests for legal accommodations (approval of a legal accommodation is not guaranteed). Security Clearance:

  • Secret security clearance required.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
