POSITION: Program Supervisor
LOCATION: Bronx (Norwood Terrace)
HOURS: Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm or Sunday-Thursday; 8am-4pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee operations to ensure compliance with LIHTC, HHAP,
and other regulatory guidelines.
Provide assistance to staff and clients with issues related to improving
health care outcomes and securing/maintaining benefits and entitlements.
Act as a liaison with other service providers as well as with
community agencies.
Assist with the coordination of staff schedules.
Perform periodic staff evaluations; participate in hiring and dismissing
of staff.
Participate in weekly supervision meetings with the Director.
Provide flexibility in scheduling according to site needs.
Assist the Director with maintaining program occupancy rates including
but not limited to the intake process, collection of supporting documentation and admission process.
Provide weekly supervision with staff including weekly client review and
ongoing chart review.
Monitor client charts for timely submission of paperwork, and qualitative
review of progress notes, services plans and reviews, functional assessments and other required documentation.
Periodically fulfill responsibilities of Service Coordinator as assigned
and as needed in times of staffing turnover.
Collaborate with the Property Department regarding site maintenance
and safety issues.
Adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth in Concern’s
personnel manual.
Provide on-call crisis intervention.
Participate in all trainings as required.
Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.
Other tasks as assigned by Director.
Positions Supervised: May supervise the following positions as determined by the Director: Counselors, Service Coordinators and Student Interns
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related mental health field with at least 3 years experience working in a similar setting and/or working with people with psychiatric disabilities. The individual in this position must have good leadership and supervisory skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make sound judgments regarding client care.
