The early childhood services department provides comprehensive Early Head Start home based services, Head Start and GSRP preschool services as well as WIC services. Pay Rate: $18.75 with BA Hiring Incentive: $2,500.00 for new RFT employees to be paid out as follows o $500.00 at time of hire (first paycheck) o $500.00 at successful completion of 90 days (removed from provisional status) o $1500.00 at successful completion of school year What you will do Early Head Start Home Base Program Supervisor is a management level position that is part of the comprehensive services offered to children and families. The responsibilities of the Home Base Program Supervisor include: Responsible for direct supervision of designated staff, including work schedules and all changes in schedule. Responsible for ensuring full program participation by family and staff. Collaboratively plan and implement family/community events. Collaborate with community organizations to deepen partnerships for the benefit of families, children and staff. Provide program presentations on an ongoing and regular schedule. Meet weekly with staff to provide supervision and case management. Conduct monthly staff meetings. Plan parent meetings and socializations. Provide ongoing documented monitoring of Home-Based Educators. Monitor the ongoing assessment tool and staff implementation. Provide Health and Safety observations. Ensure referral are made in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with Home Based Educators to ensure they are providing developmentally appropriate home visits. What we will love about you Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a bachelors degree in related field with equivalent coursework in Early Childhood Education with a minimum of 3 years of effective supervisory skills. Early Head Start/Head Start experience preferred. Knowledge of the Head Start performance standards preferred. Infant/toddler experiences preferred. Family Service Credential within 18 months of hire or the first session offered thereafter. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively. Demonstrated ability as a strength-based leader.
