Description

The Collaborative Practice team is seeking a student to support our collection of recognition stories of Holland Bloorview employees. We are anticipating this to be a 16 week placement, working approximately 10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Write recognition stories about clinicians and clinical teams at Holland Bloorview
  • Interviewing staff in person or via Zoom to record/document their accounts
  • Editing stories of staff that will be later be posted on internal intranet website
  • Support in other clinical recognition administrative tasks
  • Meet with Collaborative Practice Leader to discuss ideas and stories
  • Booking Zoom Meetings
  • General administration tasks (formatting, PowerPoint, Word processor, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Written skills at the post-secondary level
  • Ability to manage outlook calendar
  • Time management skills
  • Familiarity with Zoom
  • Familiarity with word processor or google docs
  • Will request written sample during interview process

Additionally, due to funding requirements, the successful candidate must be:

  • Enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at a Canadian post-secondary education institution
  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred and legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
