BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for washing and drying vehicles; limited cashiering, facility maintenance
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Regular/consistent attendance at the business setting
- Able to perform all exterior car wash duties: prepping, washing and drying vehicles, facility cleaning
- Operate cash register; tender transactions in a prompt, accurate manner, open/close register
- Customer interaction to make recommendations/sell car wash services, including upselling products and promotional items as assigned
- Wash towels, maintain equipment and building
- Responsible for facility maintenance duties as needed
- Practices and follows all safety procedures
- Detail oriented
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors and team members
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

INTERACTIONS: Customers, vendors, and Pit Stop Team Members
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
Education: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Customer service experience preferred
Knowledge: Sales knowledge preferred; Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; Cash register, calculator, and basic computer skills

Successfully demonstrates the ability to perform all job functions such as identifying counterfeit funds, running the cash register with few errors, and completing cashier functions thoroughly, completely and with attention to small details; Remains alert at all times to ensure quality work and a safe work environment; Recognizes similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.

Working conditions: Outdoor environment; in outdoor conditions, extreme temperature ranges may be encountered such as exposure to hot summer sun and winter weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
