DISTRICT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead, manage, and develop sales teams of 20+ team members at 5+ retail locations.
  • Deliver top notch results for all locations within assigned area by meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Prepare schedules for all locations to ensure business needs are met.
  • Serve as a role model for store sales team in all aspects of the job by demonstrating a professional, high-performing, and ethical image.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

  • Leads and manages the sales team to provide an unparalleled customer experience.
  • Give, receive, and respond to feedback effectively.
  • Train, coach, develop, and manage sales team through the direction of the Sales Director.
  • Ensure sales goals are met by developing and managing the sales team to sell our products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrate solid technical competence for all products and services sold.
  • Demonstrate leadership by providing positive and effective resolution to customer and team member concerns as first point of contact of escalation for store managers.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features through continuous learning and self-development.
  • Know the market by keeping up with competitive offers and be able to provide market feedback to the Sales Director regarding local competition and product/service needs.
  • Accountable for in-store presentation standards and ensure Blue Fig and Cricket audit standards are met, including housekeeping, merchandising, signage, and maintenance of sales, stock, and common areas of the stores.
  • Accountable for the protection of the company assets by following established policies, processes, and procedures, including inventory
  • Manage the integrity of store operating procedures, to include opening, closing, inventory, point of sale paperwork/record keeping, cash management, maintaining store standards/appearance in merchandising, backroom, restroom and workarea.
  • Build positive and productive relationships with Cricket personnel, community partners, sales team and customers.
  • Identify local sales and branding event opportunities throughout the local communities in the distract.
  • Any other assigned duties for store or market goals as outlined by the Sales Director, Vice President of Sales.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • 5 years of retail sales management or customer service management experience required.
  • 5 years of experience, hiring, developing, and managing employees.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet/ exceed sales quotas.

  • Ability to work varied schedule with flexibility including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in prepaid wireless sales management a must.
  • Bilingual / Spanish
