This effort will assist in creating a network of likeminded allies and partners with increased threat reduction capabilities that contribute and advance the interests and security of the United States of America. It will assist in building strategic relationships with key international partners that enhance threat reduction on a global scale. And, it will also support the resilience of the global nonproliferation framework by building partner capacities to enforce the tenants of that framework.

Description:

The Administrative Assistant II will provide administrative on-site staff support at the DTRA Headquarters location, to fulfill the responsibilities of the CTR program. Will perform administrative support and coordination across all staff levels to ensure tasks are assigned to appropriate staff and deliverables are met on time.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Facilitate communication across leadership and teams.
  • Prepare briefing material for senior leadership.
  • Assist, track, and manage various projects.
  • Document best practices across all programs.
  • Engage and communicate with staff and leadership.
  • Event planning, communication, and coordination,
  • Maintain master calendars for multiple managers.
  • Managing travel coordination.
  • Monitoring taskings and data calls and coordinating responses.
  • Records management.
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring responses are submitted on time.
  • May provide subject matter expertise in office administration, records management, knowledge management, task allotment and tracking, quality control and assurance.
  • May perform these administrative tasks for each CTR department as well as to the CTR Front Office Director and Deputy Director.
  • May interact with various offices of DTRA in order to clarify and completed tasks.
  • Prepare and assist in general business operations to support the customers.
  • Research and assist in database administrations or similar support activities.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
