Private Equity Analyst I: 

The Private Equity Analyst I will support NKP Capital with the health care strategies and the build out of the M&A and Business Development Teams.  Beyond health care, there may be other portfolio companies and/or strategies that the Analyst may be asked to support. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Source and uncover new acquisition opportunities.
  • Build and analyze financial and valuation models.
  • Lead the underwriting and due diligence of new acquisitions and make recommendations.
  • Prepare investment presentations and other marketing materials.
  • Support all transaction and closing diligence activities.
  • Support lending relationships related to the financing of new acquisitions.
  • Build relationships with sellers and intermediaries.
  • Further develop company's reputation and reach among health care brokers and owners.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of transactional experience in corporate and/or real estate acquisitions;
  • Strong background in finance and/or real estate at top-tier investment banking, private equity and/or real estate acquisition firms, preferred;
  • Health care banking or health care finance knowledge a plus, but not required;
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting method (three-statement models, GAAP/IFRS)
  • Business or Economics degree preferred, but not required;
  • Project management skills, analytical/problem solving abilities desired;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Travel up to 25% required.

  • Base Compensation: Competitive, market based
