Looking for a Full-Time Employment and Education Specialist for our RISE program
Job Summary:
You will assist participants incontinuingtheir academic or vocational activities by using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Model and provide clients with ongoing academic or vocational support after placement is secured.
What You Will Do:
- Assist clients discover their academic or vocational goals
- Find academic or vocational placement for clients
- Ensure competitive opportunities and wages for clients
- Report project data directly to the Clinical Manager
- Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings
- Provide ongoing academic and vocational support after placement is secured
- Assist clients with the stress accompanied with academic and vocational challenges
What We Need to See:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in behavioral or mental health
- 1 year experience as a supported education or employment specialist
- Basic knowledge of the local academic and vocational activities
- Knowledge of local FEP resources applicable to the population being served and an understanding of FEP phase-specific and CSC care
- A valid driver's license insurable by agency's automobile insurance
