Share Email Opening Title Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)  Description Looking for a per-diem Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner Job Summary: You will conduct comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations, resulting in assessment and diagnosis using DSM-V criteria (and the biopsychosocial formulation model) and develop comprehensive interdisciplinary and multimodality treatment plans What You Will Do: Deliver care to clients of all ages (within the scope of certification), develop therapeutic plans of care for prevention, and management of optimum health for individuals Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, evaluate, and monitor acute and chronic illnesses/health conditions, administers prevention services, and counsels psychologically challenged individuals Complete corresponding documentation for services provided to clients Order, perform, interpret, evaluate, and review diagnostic studies and procedures Prescribe and dispense pharmaceuticals, evaluates outcomes and dictates changes in plans Order lab testing Make referrals to health care professionals, specialists, other clinics and community agencies Maintain client records following Agency Policy and Procedure Monitor health status of client's longitudinally Report health status of participants to the treatment team Participate in the development of the participant's recovery plan What We Need to See: A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited education institution Documented knowledge of 1+ years' work experience with children and their families with mental illness Current and valid NJ RN license Current and valid NJ APN license Current and valid Federal DEA certificate Current and valid CDS certificate Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification or be eligible for FNP Current and valid CPR certificate A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance What We Offer: Referral Bonus Wellness Program About CarePlus New Jersey: CPNJ embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion in all of it policies and procedures.
