Share Email Opening Title Counselor Family First (PT)  Description Looking for a Part-Time Counselor for our Family First Program   Job Summary: You will provide in-home counseling, on-call/in-person crisis intervention, and case management to DCPP-referred, high-risk children and their families to prevent abuse/neglect.   What You Will Do: Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients at intake, during ongoing service, delivery, and termination Create relevant, measurable goals that serve as indices for evaluating intervention progress Prepare written documentation of assessments, interception plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the clients' files with all entries authenticated,timed, and dated Communicate aftercare plans for clients completing program and accessing other services in the continuum Collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary team, including participating in program and team meetings, providing support to team colleagues, and engaging in program-related performance improvement processes and activities Participate in weekly team case conferences and trainings observing Family Preservation Services' requirements Provide 24/7 coverage to caseload   What We Need to See: Bachelor's Master's degree in Social Work OR other behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university 2+ years experience providing counseling to children and families A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.   What We Offer: 401K, no matching needed High plan insurance at a generous cost Union benefits Life and Disability insurance Per diem opportunities Excellent supervision and training Continuing education, tuition reimbursement and eligibility for loan forgiveness 10% daycare discount   About CarePlus New Jersey: CPNJ embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion in all of it policies and procedures.
