The service that we provide to FPL is to reading electric meters for billing, reconnect services, disconnect services, collect payments on past due customers, and routine change outs of electric meters. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Driving (75%/day) and navigating through residential and commercial areas Entering residential and commercial property to conduct required work Safely Disconnecting or Reconnecting either at the main breaker, the service line, or by safely pulling the electric meter Working with energized electric equipment to disconnect service Providing customer service with a responsibility with humility to the customers we serve Working with pride and a high quality of workmanship Other Duties/Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned   Position Requirements Experience: Two (2+) plus years of Customer Service One (1+) plus years of working with electricity and on Ladders preferred An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid Driver’s License is required Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and pass a pre-employment drug screen   Open Date 8/4/2022   Close Date   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
