Summary:
The CDL Class A Driver/Material Handler will be responsible for hauling material to and from our Branford, Florida facility. In addition, this position will also serve as a material handler, operating heavy equipment working in an alternative engineered fuels processing facility. This includes the need to support operations during high demand times to ensure the success of the business.
Job Description:
1.Loading, unloading, and safely transporting material to and from the facility.
2.Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards.
3.Interfacing and creating excellent client experiences during pick-ups and deliveries.
4.Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
5.Reporting vehicle and equipment defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before, during and after pickups.
6.Efficiently operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction).
7.Willing to do overnight runs.
8.Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks, etc)
9. Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage to Heavy Equipment.
10.Willing to do hands on labor when needed.
