Description

The Sr Manager, Remarketing will be responsible for creating a remarketing program for pre-owned VinFast vehicles (trades, buybacks, lease dispositions), developing a team to support the program across market expansions, and managing the partnership with trade-in vendors for non-VinFast vehicles. This role will also be responsible for reporting of trade-in and market data to support sales planning. The Sr Manager will coordinate with the logistics team to manage vehicle distribution across all sales operations and partner channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Develop the remarketing program for VinFast vehicles, including trades, buybacks, and lease dispositions.
  • Develop certified pre-owned program standards and procedures
  • Manage reconditioning programs, vendors, and budgets
  • Prepare and analyze trade-in data reporting for sales planning
  • Partner with Logistics and other internal departments to develop and manage processes to facilitate remarketing operations
  • Create and ensure all resale processes are aligned with strategic remarketing objectives
  • Manage inventory of all pre-owned vehicles
  • Develop and drive the retail sales plan related to remarketing
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-10+ years of experience working in automotive/tech/vehicle remarketing
  • Automotive wholesale and auction experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proven success scaling a department from scratch
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver major initiatives
  • Strong verbal, listening, written communications skills required
  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools –Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • SAP experience a plus
