As an Engineering Manager you will develop new products and enhance existing ones. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of products and technologies while building your team to grow NetSPI's vision. Product-based experience is required. Responsibilities: Lead a team of Frontend, Backend and Full Stack engineers to guide the technical direction for our existing products and new products we are developing Develop your team's capabilities through hiring, mentoring, and hands-on management Work collaboratively with the other engineering teams and product management Coach members of your team through the variety of interpersonal, technological, and methodological challenges they face day-to-day Jump into the code with your team Understand the career goals of individuals on your team and work to find opportunities that support their growth, match their proficiency, and are aligned to NetSPI's success Effectively interact with teams in US time zone to support a global implementation Technical Requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field. The overall experience of 8 to 10 years in software coding and development and 3 to 5 years in managing or leading a software development team. Ability to lead and influence team members to forge consensus on technical discussions including architectural and design guidelines, code reviews, release process, etc. Experience with developing SaaS (Software as a Service) based software products Prior experience with RDBMS databases. Experience in technology stack: Java, J2EE, Spring, ReactJS Exposure to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end frameworks Experience with REST APIs, JSON and exposure to container based technologies. Strong in data structures and algorithms. Exposure to Maven, Ant or Gradle for builds. Experience using CI/CD pipelines Strong analytical and debugging skills. Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, production-ready code (readable, well-tested, with well-designed APIs (Application Program Interface)) Demonstrated passion for innovation with an ability to work within agile software development methodologies Ability to clearly articulate and communicate technical concepts within and across teams.
